The Cliffs of Moher is Ireland’s most visited tourist attraction– and definitely worth going. It’s hard to capture the scale of how large these cliffs are. They are where the depicted in the movie “The Princess Bride” as the elusive “Cliffs of Insanity“. And, apparently, around the edge is a notorious big-wave surfing spot.
Our fluke hot weather came to an end, and Mr. Ainsley and I loved every minute of it. We started to see why pub culture was so popular in Ireland: It is comforting when it’s freezing outside.
